Little A's 2nd Birthday

We are back with an amazing showcase of my 4-legged baby’s 2nd birthday!  Everyone knows how much I love to plan and host parties and that doesn’t stop when I get the opportunity to celebrate my baby’s birthday!

A special thanks to Miss Whitney Fitzpatrick for photographing Little A’s birthday!
I decided to do gold and green this year. It all started with finding gold polka dot cupcake holders and gold chevron paper straws (found at Home Goods) and then it came to me what I wanted to do!  I happened to be shopping at Target and found the most perfect gold polka dot paper plates and napkins.

Every party I do has to have a birthday banner…so I made one out of burlap, twine, and gold glitter letters.  On the ends I made tassels made from yarn with variations of gold.

I decided to also make a tassle banner using yarn, ribbon and tulle.  This was hung along the light strip in my kitchen.
I added some of my favorite things from my apartment for the gift table including a lace crown (purchase at BHLDN) and my favorite picture of Little A and a concrete “2” I picked up from the Design Harvest Festival.  The gold foil doilies I purchased at Party City.

I purchased a large craft letter “A” and added gold glitter glass for the gift table.

I wanted to do a special message on a chalkboard for his party. I purchased the chalkboard at World Market and came up with my special message.

I purchased the 2-bite cupcakes for the human guests from Whole Foods and then added gold sugar sprinkles from Williams Sonoma and placed them on a pedestal. Underneath, I made the word “two” out of craft letters with gold glitter class purchased on Etsy.

The dog cake was purchased from Dogaholics in Chicago and put on a green glass pedestal from Home Goods.

We all sang to my Little A and blew out the candles to make a very special wish.

All the pups played and had a blast!!

All the pups left with a goodie bag stamped with a gold letter “A” on it and filled with some of their favorite things!!

Thank you to all my friends that came to celebrate my baby’s birthday with us!!
